Xeric Design, Ltd. is a developer of cutting edge applications for Macintosh, iPhone and Windows. While Xeric Design was incorporated in 2004, the original product, Time Palette, was written on an old Mac IIcx in 1992 and was the main product for a decade, until EarthDesk took the world by storm in 2002.

Trygve Inda, the CEO, developer and chief taco maker, has been writing software for Macs since 1989 and brings to the company a passion for all things related to time, mapping and international travel. With degrees in International Affairs and Geography, you can bet that he stays up to date on the latest changes to the political map and time zones.

Karen Inda, the CEO's wife, Executive Assistant, proofreader and tea-lady, has a degree in Geography, a sharp eye for detail and an equally strong passion for international travel.

Together they have traveled to nearly 80 countries and take their business with them on laptops wherever they go. Their dedication to Xeric Design is matched only by their insatiable thirst for adventure.

They have developed software, answered customer inquiries and released product updates while exploring Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia and Oceania. For three years, they had a software development contract in Dubai and relocated there, spending winters in Dubai and summers in Prague.

Today, Trygve and Karen continue to travel the world, but maintain Xeric Design's headquarters in Incline Village, Nevada.
